Although this season has had its share of disappointments
there are many things for Irish Fans to
be thankful for. First and foremost we
should be thankful to the players and coaching staff who give us much to cheer
for on Saturdays in the fall.

Thankful for the Seniors who have given us years of exciting
moments including an undefeated season and trip to the National Championship
Game. Their service was appreciated and
they will be missed.

Thankful for Coach Brian Kelly. In recent weeks Kelly has been the target of
many fans frustration I still feel confident with him at the helm and "the
process".

Thankful for the young talent and the future. It seems that the concept of wait till next
year and the future looks bright has not come to fruition recently but the impressive play albeit inconsistent of the freshmen has been fun to watch. The sophomores have shown development and
growth and look ready to step up to leadership roles next season.
Thankful for this seasons highlights; a 6-0 start, addition
of artificial turf, and the 31-0 shutout of Michigan.
