By the Numbers

In the last 2 years, this team has turned the ball over 53 times.  Under Kelly, the Irish are 3-8 when they turn the ball over at least 3 times, that’s 11 games with at least 3 turnovers.

Notre Dame’s last 5 seasons havead at least 5 losses each.

Zero collegiate starts for whichever quarterback(s) play against Navy in Dublin (Andrew Hendrix 5 appearances, 103.29 efficiency rating, completing 18 of 37 passes with 2 interceptions for 48.6 completion percentage, 24 yards,  and 1 touchdown ).

The sophomore class is the largest with 31 players,  graduates 7, seniors 21, juniors 24, freshmen 17.

The last 3 coaches; Davie, Willingham and Weis, did not have 3 consecutive seasons with 8 or more wins.

Notre Dame has 19 players listed 6’5” or taller (Tate Nichols ranks as the tallest at 6’8”).

The Irish have 13 players weighing in at 300 pounds or more (Jarron Jones at 299 would make 14 and Louis Nix tops the list at 326 pounds).
